InfoBiotica was founded by Dr. Moriyah Zik-Cherqui, a life scientist and biotech consultant with extensive experience in academic research, scientific information analysis, and industry-oriented strategic support.

Moriyah graduated with honors from the Department of Life Sciences at Ben-Gurion University and completed her M.Sc. and Ph.D. studies in the Department of Plant Sciences at the Weizmann Institute of Science. She then continued to postdoctoral research in the Department of Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology at Yale University.

Upon returning to Israel, Moriyah served for more than nine years as a Principal Investigator in the Department of Life Sciences at Ben-Gurion University. In this role, she led an academic research laboratory, supervised M.Sc. and Ph.D. students, and taught undergraduate and graduate-level courses in the life sciences.

Recognizing the rapid development of the biotechnology sector and the growing need to make complex science accessible to diverse audiences, Moriyah expanded her expertise through studies in Information Science at the Tafnit School for Continuing Education. She also completed an MBA at Ono Academic College, strengthening her understanding of market dynamics, industry terminology, and strategic business conduct.

Through InfoBiotica, Moriyah brings together deep scientific knowledge, broad experience in biological research, and a strong understanding of the biotech industry. This dual perspective enables her to support companies, researchers, and innovation-driven organizations by translating complex scientific information into clear, accurate, and strategically relevant insights.
